How long will my Westward Bound order take?
Most Westward Bound latex clothing is individually Made-For-You in our Plymouth workshop after your order is placed. Standard production normally takes 20–25 working days, while our Fast Track Service offers priority production in either 7 or 14 working days.
In-stock Clearance Sale garments are normally dispatched within 3–4 working days. Delivery times apply after your order has been completed and dispatched and vary according to destination.
Understanding Production, Dispatch & Delivery Times
To help you estimate when your order will arrive, it is important to distinguish between production, dispatch and delivery times:
- Production time is the period required for our team to make your Made-For-You garments.
- Dispatch takes place when your completed order leaves Westward Bound and is handed to the delivery service.
- Delivery time is the estimated courier transit period after your order has been dispatched.
Except for garments specifically identified as in stock, Westward Bound latex clothing is individually Made-For-You after your order is placed.
Order Confirmation
After successfully placing an order, you will receive an automated Westward Bound order confirmation email containing your unique order reference, full details of the garments ordered and your selected delivery service.
Please retain this email for reference. If you need to contact us about an existing order, please include your unique order reference beginning WEB… so that our team can locate your order efficiently.
Made-For-You Production & Dispatch Times
Our normal production times for Made-For-You garments are:
- Standard Service: 20–25 working days.
- Fast Track Service: 7 or 14 working days, according to the priority production option selected.
If you require your garment sooner than our normal Standard Service production period, please see our Fast Track Service for information about priority Made-For-You production.
Production times are calculated in working days and do not include applicable seasonal holidays or workshop closure dates.
Clearance Sale Stock – Dispatch Times
Garments offered through our Stock Clearance Sale are ready-made and are normally dispatched within 3–4 working days.
If an in-stock Clearance Sale garment is ordered together with one or more Made-For-You garments, the complete order will be dispatched together according to the Standard or Fast Track production service selected for the Made-For-You garments.
If you require an in-stock garment to be dispatched separately from Made-For-You garments, you will need to place separate orders.
Seasonal Holidays & Non-Working Days
Published seasonal holiday dates and workshop closure periods are treated as non-working days and are not included when calculating Made-For-You production or dispatch times.
Please take these non-working periods into account when placing an order required for a particular date.
Order Tracking
When your order is dispatched, we will send you an automated email containing door-to-door tracking information so that you can follow the progress of your delivery.
Please use the tracking information provided in your dispatch email for the latest available information about your shipment after it has left Westward Bound.
Delivery Times After Dispatch
The following estimated delivery times apply after your order has been completed and dispatched from Westward Bound:

PO Box Deliveries
We cannot deliver orders to PO Box addresses outside the United Kingdom.
Please provide a suitable delivery address when placing your order to avoid delays in processing or delivering your shipment.
European Union Orders
Westward Bound garments supplied to customers in the European Union are manufactured and supplied in accordance with the applicable requirements described in our EU GPSR Compliance Information.
International Orders, Customs & Import Charges
Orders dispatched internationally may be subject to customs procedures, import requirements, taxes or charges determined by the destination country.
Please refer to the relevant information provided on our website and during the ordering process for details applicable to your destination.
Customs processing can sometimes affect delivery times after an order has been dispatched.

United Kingdom - Dispatch & Delivery
Westward Bound orders delivered within the United Kingdom normally arrive within one working day from dispatch. This delivery time is separate from the production period required for Made-For-You garments.
UK Express Delivery
UK Express delivery is fully insured and costs £10.00, with an estimated delivery time of one working day from dispatch.
UK VAT
Prices for UK customers include UK VAT at 20%.

Westward Bound garments are designed, pattern-cut and individually handcrafted by our own team in our Plymouth workshop, England.

European Union – Dispatch & Delivery
Westward Bound orders delivered to countries within the European Union normally arrive within two to four working days from dispatch.
DHL European Union Delivery
European Union orders are dispatched using DHL and are fully insured. Delivery costs £25.00, with an estimated delivery time of two to four working days from dispatch.
DHL Packstation delivery is available where supported by DHL and appropriate for the destination.
PO Box Deliveries
We cannot deliver orders to PO Box addresses within the European Union.
Please provide a suitable delivery address when placing your order to avoid delays in processing or delivering your shipment.
UK VAT on European Union Orders
Qualifying goods exported by Westward Bound from Great Britain to customers in the European Union are zero-rated for UK VAT, subject to the applicable UK export requirements.
UK VAT is therefore not included in the price charged for qualifying exports to the European Union.
Delivered at Place (DAP)
European Union orders are supplied under Incoterms® 2020 DAP (Delivered at Place).
Under DAP, the recipient is responsible for applicable import formalities and charges at destination, including import VAT and any applicable customs or clearance charges.
EU Import VAT & Charges
Westward Bound garments are manufactured in the United Kingdom and are imported into the EU at a 0% customs tariff under the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement. EU import VAT and applicable customs handling or clearance charges remain payable.

International – Dispatch & Delivery
Westward Bound orders delivered to international destinations outside the United Kingdom and European Union normally arrive within three to seven working days from dispatch.
DHL International Delivery
We dispatch international orders via DHL and fully insure them. Delivery costs £38.00, with an estimated delivery time of three to seven working days from dispatch.
International PO Box Deliveries
We cannot deliver international orders to PO Box addresses.
Please provide a suitable delivery address when placing your order to avoid delays in processing or delivering your shipment.
UK VAT on International Orders
Qualifying goods exported by Westward Bound from Great Britain to international destinations are zero-rated for UK VAT, subject to the applicable UK export requirements.
