Westward Bound Archive
The Westward Bound Archive brings together a changing selection of latex garments drawn from more than three decades of design and manufacture in Plymouth, England. It includes prototypes, workshop samples, photography garments, discontinued styles, earlier production versions and other legacy pieces from across our women’s and men’s collections.
This is not a separate made-to-order collection. Every garment shown here has already been made and forms part of our wider in-stock inventory, providing a secondary route for customers interested specifically in unusual, earlier or limited-availability Westward Bound designs.
Prototypes & Workshop Samples
Some archive garments began as development pieces created while a design was being refined. These may include prototypes, alternative constructions, experimental colour combinations, different trims or earlier interpretations of a design that later entered production.
Workshop and photography samples may also appear within the archive. Where a garment differs from the standard production version, the individual product listing identifies the relevant specification so that its construction and condition are clear before purchase.
Legacy & Discontinued Designs
The archive also includes designs that have subsequently left the main Westward Bound collection. Some were established styles produced over a number of years, while others existed only briefly or in comparatively small numbers.
These garments provide an opportunity to revisit earlier Westward Bound silhouettes, detailing and design directions without suggesting that they remain part of the current made-to-order range.
Women’s & Men’s Archive Garments
Because the archive spans the wider Westward Bound catalogue, availability may include dresses, catsuits, leotards, corsetry, lingerie, skirts, tops and jackets alongside men’s shirts, jeans, leggings, catsuits, tops and other designs.
The balance changes continually as individual pieces are sold and additional archive garments are released, so particular categories, colours and sizes cannot be assumed to remain available.
Available as Listed
Archive garments are sold in the size, colour, construction and specification stated on the individual product page. They cannot normally be altered or ordered in alternative colours or Bespoke measurements because the garment has already been completed.
Checking the listed size carefully before ordering is therefore particularly important. Our Latex Clothing Size & Measuring Guide explains Westward Bound Standard sizing and how to take accurate body measurements for comparison.
Part of Westward Bound’s Design History
Every archive garment reflects a point within the development of Westward Bound’s collections, whether as a prototype, workshop sample, earlier production design or discontinued style. Together, they provide a practical record of changing silhouettes, construction ideas, colour combinations and detailing developed within our Plymouth workshop.
Availability is naturally limited. Once an individual archive garment, size or specification has been sold, the same piece may not become available again.
Please note that promotional discount codes cannot be used on Archive garments.
