This store closed its doors on Saturday 19th January 2013.
The major influence in the creation of our showroom was the sumptuous style of Parisian and Milanese fashion houses of the 1950’s; these stimuli were fused with facets of Vivienne Westwood, Louis XVI and religious guilt to create a unique and sumptuous space.
It was fun to create and work within, we enjoyed every moment; it was an enormous pleasure to meet the thousands of great characters who walked through our doors.
The environment perfectly complemented our collection of beautiful Corsets, High Heels and Latex Couture; the latter being exclusively designed and hand made by us in England.
The decision to close the retail store was a natural consequence of the fact that nearly 100% of our sales now take place online. It mirrors the wider structural shift from high street to internet since we originally opened our doors in 1995.
Whilst we were very proud of our showroom and sorry to see it go, we do so from a position of strength, global recognition and demand for our designs online.
Thank you for taking the time to read this segment of our history, we trust you will enjoy the reflective tour.
Time moves on and we have moved with it.
